Just to update some facts and some info about BLACK BURSA and other Turkey varieties of figs ccultivation,Me and partners before (almost 3 years ago) had a mass cultivation of mostly Turkish cultivar, we have about 5000 plant and later to almost 11000 plant grown in Bangi,Malaysia under joint understanding with Ministry of Agriculture, due to lack of knowledge and experience at that particular time we face a great lost and failure,I should blame myself by not comprehensively made a full detail study of this variety,we had made all effort to bring back all the cuttings from Turkey ourself not noing that this variety need polination,mandatoryly with their wasp. We was thinking taking chances that any wasp may polinate this cultivar,it was clearly that it was not happening,later I went back to Aydin,Turkey and brought back some living wasp in a male figs and unfortunately all the wasp does not survived,end up we have to turndown this so called our research center,nevertheless itis an expensive experience that we have go through,and a lesson learn that we really really need knowledge to cultivate this figs and not only figs anything for that matters, I wish this not going to happen to anybody near future,let us extend and share our knowledge together,and for the sake of all figs lover !
